Engelberg is considered to be one of the best free ride destinations in the Swiss Alps with famous runs such as the Laub, Steinberg or Galtiberg .The local guides can take you on an unforgettable 2000m-downhill ride in waist-deep champagne-powder!
You will leave Guernsey at 09.25, or Jersey at 11.00 on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday morning, flying Blue Islands to Zurich , arriving at 14.10. so you will get to the resort by train transfer, direct from the airport, on Friday afternoon.The train takes just over 2 hours.
The hotel Hoheneck is at the top of the village, 9-10 minutes walk from the station. It has live music in it's bar every night, (it's soundproofed !) or you can chill out quietly in its lounge. Halfboard dinner is offered for SFr. 35 in weekdays. Fondue Chinoise is served at Saturdays for Sfr. 40
You leave Engelberg by train at 11.00 on your departure morning.The return flight is at 14.40, you get back in to Jersey at 15.50 and Guernsey at 16.40 .
