Weekend ski trip to Bareges, 30th March-2nd April 2012

We have had numerous comments that people would like to join our ski weekends, but are unable to take any time off work. The first time that we have a return early morning ferry from St. Malo this year is on Monday 2nd April, so we are offering a ski weekend from Friday 30th March. This means that you will leave at 18.40 on Friday evening, get 2 full days skiing on the Saturday and Sunday, and get back in to Jersey at 08.15 on the Monday!
The destination for this trip will be Bareges which links with La Mongie, to form the largest ski area in the Pyrenees, with 100 km. of pistes and 45 lifts. This area is suitable for all standards, even beginners! 2 full days of skiing, half-board hotel accomodation, and lift passes are included.

PROGRAMME:
Check in at 17.40 Friday evening, for Condor ferry departure to St. Malo at 18.40
On arrival in St.Malo transfer to sleeper coach for overnight trip down to the Pyrenees. At approximately 23.00 the coach will make a brief stop to convert the internal seating into bunk beds. It should be emphasized that these are not merely reclining seats, you actually lie flat in a lower or upper bunk.
We will arrive in Bareges early on Saturday morning and go straight to our hotel for breakfast. The Hotel is situated in the centre of the village. After breakfast we will distribute the lift passes, and set off for the ski bus to take us on the short trip (4 km) up the mountain (included in the ski pass). Nearby in the village you can hire skis and snowboards (Ski and boot hire from 17 euros per day ). If you have your own equipment just carry on to the ski bus and up to the slopes!
We willl ski all day on Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday evening we will leave Bareges, after dinner in the hotel, for the overnight trip back to St. Malo, arriving to catch the ferry back to Jersey at 08.00.arriving in Jersey at 08.20.
