Ski/snowboard Half Term Trip,
Sunday 11 Feb-Saturday 17th Feb , 2024.
You will be going to Baréges which links with La Mongie to form one of the largest ski areas in the French Pyrenees, with over 100 km. of pistes & 45 lifts. This area is suitable for all standards, even beginners! You will have half board accomodation in a centrally located 3 * hotel and a 5 day lift pass included (value €260 !) which gives you 5 full days of skiing with a part of both weekends still at home to get the children organised!
Your Itinerary:
Sunday afternoon,11th February you check-in at Elizabeth Harbour at 15.30 for Condor ferry departure to Cherbourg at 16.30. On arrival in Cherbourg at 20.00 we transfer to a coach with fully reclining seats for the overnight trip down to the Pyrenees.
We will arrive in Baréges early on Monday morning and go straight to our hotel for breakfast. The 3 * Hotel Montagne Fleurie is right in the centre of the village. After breakfast we will distribute the lift passes, go to the hire shops to collect ski gear and set off for the ski bus just across the road to take us on the short trip (4 km) up the mountain (included in the ski pass),if you have your own equipment just carry on to the slopes!
You willl have five full days of skiing from Monday through Friday!
On Friday we will spend the day on the mountain and then descend to return skis and boots etc. We will leave Baréges after dinner in the hotel for the overnight trip back to Cherbourg, arriving to catch the Saturday morning ferry back to Jersey at 11.00, to be back in Jersey by 12.30.
N.B. Condor Ferries have advised us of the following:
St Malo port closure – we have been advised that St Malo is closed from early January to mid-February for port maintenance, so we have no choice but to operate instead to Cherbourg.
Now , we will be arriving in Cherbourg earlier than usual, and departing on the return journey later than usual, so our arrival and departure times to and from Bareges, should not be affected too much!

The cost of this trip is £1149 for adults and £1049 for children up to age 10. N.B. we have an option on the whole hotel until 15th November, so don't delay, book today!
